DON'T FAIL THE GIRLS CAMPAIGN

Breast cancer doesn’t wait.
Neither can we.

Don’t Fail the Girls

Don’t Fail the Girls is a national Susan G. Komen campaign calling attention to the growing reality of breast cancer among younger women—and the consequences of assuming they’re too young to be at risk.

Breast cancer is being diagnosed in women in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Too often, symptoms are dismissed, concerns are minimized, or women are told they’re too young for breast cancer. Black women also face a disproportionate burden, with higher rates of diagnosis at younger ages and higher mortality.

Don’t Fail the Girls is a rallying cry to stop looking away.

No one fails by having breast cancer.
We fail when we look away.

The campaign challenges the assumptions, delays and disparities that can put younger women at risk.

It asks all of us to pay attention. To listen when something doesn’t feel right. To take symptoms seriously. To make sure women have access to the care, information and support they need.

And ultimately, to act.
